Los Cerritos Center

The Los Cerritos Center project involved an expansion and renovation of the existing shopping center in Cerritos, California. Light Plan Design’s challenge was to create a concept that matched the architect’s vision – an existing interior “streetscape” feel with an updated, energetic and more energy efficient design. Interior pole fixtures were combined with linear cove lighting and linear asymmetrical luminaries to highlight the sweeping arches of the space. Skylight luminaries wash the insides of the skylight wells during nighttime hours to keep the space feeling bright. LED Flood lights, with a cool color temperature highlight and create a sparkle effect on the new blue glass tiles at the redesigned mall entry. Decorative glass pendants were placed at varying heights to provide
additional sparkle and excitement.
